So this week, the Idols are picking songs from movies.... this should be interesting. Here's what I think should happen.

Adam -
One Song Glory from RENT

Okay so I know it's really a musical/rock-pop opera, but it would really show off his range and it's a pretty sick song. And maybe he can take the route Adam Pascal sometimes takes: going up to a very high note that I do not know (hahaa) on the last "Glory" during the first time the chorus is sung.

LOL, I don't think this would be the best song choice for him, but I would seriously LMAO if he did this. It just seems to fit his personality so much. And it seems like he has a chance of going soon, so why not go out with a bang? Hahaa.

I have a strong feeling she'll tackle Listen from DREAMGIRLS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yc1R1JMTMKQ) but she does not have the voice to do well with it. By this point, I'm not really interested in her performances. They're boring and just okay, which really doesn't cut it this season. I'm not really sure what song would suit her because I haven't heard her sing well since Hollywood, and I completely forget how she sounded.

I agree with everyone else who has been saying this. I'm in no way a Danny fan (put the GO in GOKEY), but his voice fits with the song and he could do okay with it.

Demi Lovato's version - as much as I hate it - would work for her voice and style. I think it would be pretty interesting to see her do something more innocent and fun than what she usually does.

Although Kris's voice is very different from JRM's, I think he could definitely pull this off. There's a lot more room for Kris to show some vocals on this, especially if he kept the accompaniment to an acoustic guitar and a drum.
